Cite Materials in EDUCATION: APA and Blue Book Citation

Most Education courses at New Paltz require that you use American Psychological Association (APA) format.  

Some courses in Educational Administration require citation and style that is unique to legal documents.  Legal and government documents for these courses often require BlueBook style.

 

DID YOU KNOW....... That many of our databases can create APA citations for you?*  Look for the "Citation" icons!  Here is what it looks like in most EBSCO databases, including Education Source, ERIC, and Educational Administration Abstracts

 

Those other icons are important, too!

  • You can add citations to a folder
  • Print citations, abstracts, and full articles
  • Email them to yourself or save them
  • Create annotations that will be saved to your MyEbsco folder
  • Create and send a link to this article to a colleague or profesor
