Das Chorwerk  is an ongoing critical edition of Renaissance choral music.  Well-edited scores with critical notes (in German) in editions that are easy to sing from.  Terrific for early music enthusiasts, sight-singing or just plain fun!

Why use the Advanced Search screen?

• Easily look for words in a title, subject, etc., and combine them together one word per box
• Limit to Oversize collection : home to most of our scores
• Limit to Media/Music collection : where our CDs are located
• Limit to the video collection : DVDs

Why use the Catalog, anyway??

• It contains everything we own at the physical library: that's a lot of stuff!
• We collect a lot of Music materials --books, scores, writings about music, CDs, and DVDs. 
• You can log in and check what you have checked out, and renew your books online 
• Create lists of materials, save them, email them, or print.

I checked the Catalog and you don't have what I'm looking for.  Now what?

If you know the basic publication information (or production info., if it's a recording), fill out an ILLIAD request form for the item.  Log in with your NPCUID.

Don't know the basics (title, author, place & date of publication?)  Search Worldcat to get that information before you order. 

You don't have a book/recording on my topic.  Where else should I look?

• Broaden out your search by searching throughout the SUNY library system with the Union Catalog.
• Search globally with WorldCat
• You can always try Amazon.com.  then search the catalog for that item, or order it through ILLIAD
• ASK A LIBRARIAN!  We can assist you with your search.  And if you find a book or recording that we should own, but don't, let us know!
