The Sojourner Truth Library has been a selective federal depository library since 1965.   

Records for print government documents can be found using the library catalog. Government documents are stored on the ground floor in compact shelving. Documents in microfiche format are also located on the ground floor. If you have difficulty locating these materials please ask for assistance at the research help desk.

This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the Government documents collection is guaranteed by public law. (Title 44 United States Code)"

Every Federal depository library is required to have the titles in the "basic collection" accessible for immediate use. These titles are vital sources of information that support the public's right to know about the workings and essential activities of the Federal Government. This list is subject to change.
