Where should you publish your work?

Colleagues, mentors and professional relationships from within your department, academic community or other institutions are good resources for suggestions for places to submit your manuscript.  They can advise you to which  journals hold prestige in your field. This guide describes some tools, resources, and library services for identifying peer reviewed publication outlets. The guide also provides basic information about journal evaluation measurements, such as journal impact factor. In addition, the guide provides information about library services for discovering cited references of your work.

For help in using the resources highlighted in this guide, please request a research consultation with a reference librarian to discuss your specific needs.
