Accessing Materials on the Ground Floor

A guide on how to access materials from the Ground floor of the library while it is closed due to mold.

Overview of the Library Space and Collections

STL has three floors. Each floor is unique and has different services and collections. The ground floor is the only floor that is closed and materials from that floor are unavailable. 

The Main Floor (top floor)

The Main Floor of the Library has the following:

  • Front Desk
  • Check-Out
  • Reserves
  • Research Help
  • Technology Help
  • Current Periodicals & Zines
  • Reference Collection
  • Scanners
  • Group Study Rooms
  • Various seating and study options
  • Restrooms
  • Gender Neutral Restroom

The Concourse Floor (middle floor)

The Concourse Floor of the Library has the following:

  • Stacks with call numbers A – L
  • Juvenile/Young Adult Books (JUV)
  • Media Collection
  • Restrooms
  • Individual Study Rooms
  • Various seating and study options
  • Faculty/Staff Lounge

The Ground Floor (bottom floor)

The Ground Floor of the Library has the following:

  • Stacks with call numbers M – Z
  • Compact Shelving:
  • Bound Journals A – Z
  • Government Documents
  • Oversize Books
  • Super Oversize Books
  • Microfilm / Microfiche
  • Individual Study Rooms
  • Various seating and study options
  • Restrooms
