COVID-19 and Distance Learning

I understand that this is a stressful time and I want you to know the library is here to support you during distance learning. Whether you are on or off-campus you will be able to access library resources. Please see below for instruction and support. If you have additional questions or need support, please contact us using our Ask a Librarian page. Black Studies faculty/staff and students may email me directly at gwenwalm@newpaltz.edu.

One of the barriers to distance learning is lack of internet access. Spectrum and Comcast are offering 60 day low-cost or free internet access. See information below:

  4. Browse the results page and click on the titles of interested articles to see the article's abstract.
  5. On the description page for the article, locate the PDF or HTML button (usually on the left or at the top). You may also notice a "Find it @ New Paltz" button for articles that don't have PDF/HTML attached. Click the "Find it @ New Paltz" button to see if the article is in one of our other databases. We have about 140 databases so it might be in a different database than you are searching.
