Search Strategies

When searching for biographical works, use the Advanced Search tab to search by subject and combine search terms.  For example:

  • Downing, Andrew Jackson and biography
  • Gaudi and biography

Find Books Worldwide!

Search the WorldCat database to find graphic art books and videos in libraries worldwide.

Books located in the STL are included in the WorldCat database. They are indentified like this:  In your library SUNY AT NEW PALTZ.

Books in WorldCat that are not owned by STL can be requested via Interlibrary Loan.
