Articles submitted to peer-reviewed journals are evaluated by scholars in the field. They may require the author to make changes before publishing, and will reject articles that are not credible or well-researched.
Here are five helpful tips for determining whether the article you have is peer reviewed, blogged by an academic librarian.
You will get the best results by searching complete databases such as JSTOR, Project Muse, and MLA International Bibliography. However, there are times when you may want to browse selected journals that have special significance for Theatre Arts research:
