Permalinks: how to link directly to library catalog records, ebooks, articles, databases and streaming videos

Permalinks to Articles, Entries, and eBooks in Gale Databases: scroll down for two examples

Example for Articles, Entries, and eBooks found in a Gale Database

  1. Conduct a search.
  2. From the results list, click on the title of an item.
  3. On the top of the page, click Get Link.
  4. The Permalink will then appear in a box, in front of the item.
  5. Copy the Permalink and paste it.
  6. You must add the STL Proxy URL prefix to the beginning of the Permalinks from Gale databases.

The Permalink will appear in a box in front of the item. Copy & paste it. Add the STL Proxy URL prefix to the beginning of the Permalink.
