Permalinks: how to link directly to library catalog records, ebooks, articles, databases and streaming videos

Example for an Article found in a Proquest Database

1. Conduct a search.
2. From the results list, click on the title of an item.
3. Click the "All Options" icon from the upper right side of the page to open a window with the permanent URL
4. A page will open that says "All Save & Export Options." The Permalink will be at the top of the page. You can highlight and Copy it.
5. Before Pasting the Permalink, check to make sure it includes the STL Proxy URL prefix.
